One for the kids!!
SlowCooker "No Veggie" Spagetti Bolognaise
So simple and easy to do in the slow cooker. Pop on low in the morning or lunch and serve up at dinner. I made enough for 6 portions costing approx. £6! It was packed with veggies but the kids are non the wiser!
•Brown the mince and transfer to slow cooker
•in the same pan stir fry veggies of choice in rapeseed oil or coconut oil until they start to soften then add in a jar of passata. Heat through then BLEND!! Transfer to slow cooker once you've reached your preferred consistency (tonight I used onion, carrot, red & yellow peppers and celery)
•leave 4hrs on high /8hrs on low
•serve with pasta or salad / Courgette Spagetti for a healthier option
I opted for lean steak mince at only 5% fat
